Staying persistent on the manifesting journey can be really tough when 3D reality isn’t moving, and life feels like it’s on repeat.
If you are familiar with manifesting, then by now you have established:
Your current reality consists of all the things that you consent to be true.
To manifest deliberately you have to have a clear intention.
To bring that manifestation into your current reality you have to imagine it as if it’s real (without trying to control how it comes).
To remove yourself from a state of lack (which will repel your manifestation) you need to operate from a place as if it’s already done.
Once you let go of the how the universe can deliver your manifestation in an infinite number of ways because all realities exist.
Time and space are illusions - everything exists at the same time, and you can bend reality by having insane mental discipline about changing your beliefs, as told through your thoughts, words and actions.
To simplify: know what you want, imagine already having it, believe you already have it, and then get out of the way so that universe can provide it.
I simplify it because it seems simple enough once you get it, but even with this understanding, backed up by actions steps, life can sometimes keep throwing you the same situations and circumstances, even though you have been putting in the work to manifest their opposite.
Why?
This is referred to as the Echo. The Echo is like an echo chamber of all of your past beliefs, truths, habitual thought patterns and behaviours. In other words the probable circumstances based on who you have been for the majority of your thinking day.
The Echo serves as a feedback loop or mirror, and is very likely to come in the form of a sequence of events that all seem to be going against what you want.
To give an example, let’s say you have been trying manifest a higher paying job. You have stayed faithful in your imagination, over a period of time, about the kind of job that you want and how much it pays, you’ve even set the scene of imagining your friends and family congratulating you on getting the job (+ you have taken inspired action by applying for jobs that fit your criteria).
But then you get 3 rejections in a row, then you start having problems in your current job, then the financial pressure gets worse as you get an unexpected bill, then you lose your current job before you have another job. All of this unfolds within a few days, maybe a week, and you’re just about ready to call BS on this whole manifesting thing.
So what happened?
Firstly it’s important to acknowledge that because of the urgency and desperation to find a new job it’s likely that the feeling of lack was taking up more mental space than the feeling of it’s already done.
However, it can also be the case that you were being faithful to your imagination, and not in place of lack and you still experienced the Echo. What happened? The sequence of unfortunate events are instant feedback loops to see if you are really living in the end (acting as if it’s already done), or will you still get triggered in the same old ways?(That text from your ex should ring some bells here too!)
Think back to the example, how would you react after 3 rejections? Then further still losing your current job? A person who has complete trust in the manifestation wouldn’t react at all, living in the knowledge that the new job is inevitable anyway, so it’s already done. She can say (and truly mean it), the circumstances right now don’t matter, my new job is inevitable. This is what faith looks like.
On the other hand someone still abiding by their past belief systems would be freaking out. Maybe they would have an underlying sense of everything working out, but in the short-term they are going to suffer, and likely settle for whatever gets them out of their current situation the fastest.
Then which one am I?
If you find yourself calm in the eye of the storm, that’s a sure way to know your manifestation will be come fast, as you withstood the Echo. You resonated back to the universe that the old you is gone, and the new you - the one with the new job - is here now. Reality therefore must conform.
If you are however still caught in the same reactive behaviours, signalling to the universe that you don’t believe in the inevitability of your manifestation, then there is still more work to be done.
As dismaying as that may seem on the surface, it’s actually wonderful that we have these Echo’s so that we can adjust the sails. And what’s more, is that the Echo’s are unlimited, you can’t fail at life, the universe will constantly support your journey by showing you exactly who you are and the reality you’re projecting AND let you imagine all the things you want to be.
Imagine the gift of having an existence that’s as malleable as that - we are so free we can even chose bondage.
Let the Echo serve you. Recognise when it’s happening and laugh in the face of your current reality with the knowing it’s about to bend into a new one, the one that you prefer.
